Dow Futures Dip Following Mixed Session, Nonfarm Payrolls in Focus

U.S. stock futures were trading lower during Thursday’s evening deals, following a mixed performance among major indices as market participants braced for key jobs data slated for release later in Friday’s session. By 6:25 PM ET (11:25 PM GMT) Dow Jones Futures were little changed, S&P 500 Futures eased 0.1% and Nasdaq 100 Futures dipped 0.2%. In extended deals, Samsara Inc (NYSE:IOT) popped 21.2% after reporting Q3 losses of $0.02 per share versus expected losses of $0.06 per share, while revenue came in at $169.8 million versus $155.33M expected. Asana Inc (NYSE:ASAN) fell 12.1% after the company reported Q3 losses of $0.26 per share, smaller than expected loss of $0.33 per share. Revenue was reported at $141.4M versus $139.01M expected. Zscaler (NASDAQ:ZS) fell 10.2% after reporting Q1 EPS of $0.29 versus $0.26 expected on revenues of $355.5M versus $340.68M expected.

Ulta Beauty (NASDAQ:ULTA) Added 0.2%.

after reporting Q3 EPS of $5.34 versus $4.09 expected on revenues of $2.3B versus $2.2B expected. Marvell Technology  reporting Q3 EPS of $0.57 versus $0.59 expected on revenues of $1.54B versus $1.56B expected. Ahead in Friday’s trading session, traders will be squarely focused on fresh nonfarm payrolls, unemployment and hourly wages data. During Thursday’s trade, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 194.8 points or 0.6% to 34,395, the S&P 500 lost 3.5 points or 0.1% to 4,076.6 and the NASDAQ Composite added 14.5 points or 0.1% to 11,482.45. On the bond markets, United States 10-Year rates were at 3.51%.
