Fatal Sirsa Road Accident Claims Lives of Gujarat Police Officers
A devastating road accident on Bharat Mala Road in Sirsa district early Wednesday morning resulted in the tragic deaths of three Gujarat Police officers and left a Punjab Police ASI critically injured. The incident occurred around 5:30 AM near the Warring Khera petrol pump, when a Gujarat Police Mahindra Bolero (GJ18JB7819) collided with an unidentified vehicle.
Three Gujarat Cops Dead, Punjab ASI Injured
Local authorities recovered a number plate from Punjab at the crash site, suggesting that another vehicle might have been involved. The Dabwali police responded immediately, notifying Gujarat Police and rushing the victims to the hospital. However, three officers—Prakashbhai from Ahmedabad, Jayendra Singh from Surat, and Sunil Kumar from Ahmedabad—were declared dead on arrival.
Punjab Police ASI JP Solanki, who was traveling with them, suffered severe injuries and was transferred to a hospital in Bathinda for advanced medical treatment.
Crash Occurred During Official Investigation
According to police sources, the Gujarat Police team had traveled to Punjab for an official investigation and had picked up ASI JP Solanki from Rama Mandi police station at 4 AM. The accident happened while they were en route back, and the force of the impact was so severe that the victims suffered fatal head and abdominal injuries, despite airbags being deployed.
One officer, who was seated behind the conductor’s seat, was thrown forward due to the intense collision force.

Locals gathered at the accident site, speculating on the possible causes of the crash. However, the exact reason for the collision remains unknown. Authorities from Haryana, Punjab, and Gujarat Police have launched a joint investigation to determine the circumstances leading to the fatal accident.
