Mumbai: Alpha, the highly anticipated spy thriller starring Alia Bhatt and Sharwari Wagh, is officially slated for release on Christmas next year. Yash Raj Films, the production company behind the film, announced the release date. The film is set to be part of the Spy Universe, with Alia Bhatt taking on the lead role as a spy for the first time in the series.
This will mark a significant moment in the Spy Universe as it features a female lead, with Bhatt portraying a daring espionage agent. Bollywood actor Bobby Deol will play the antagonist, while Anil Kapoor will take on the role of Alia’s mentor.
