The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast light rain and thundershowers at isolated places in Gujarat over the next 24 hours. A fresh western disturbance is causing this change in weather conditions across the state.
Rain Expected in North and South Gujarat
Districts That May See Rainfall
IMD officials say North Gujarat districts, including Aravalli, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahal, Dahod, and Mahisagar, may receive light rain or thundershowers at a few locations.
In South Gujarat, areas such as Vadodara and Bharuch may also experience similar weather during the day.

Ahmedabad and nearby regions will likely see partly cloudy skies. The minimum temperature may remain close to 19°C, which is higher than normal for early February.
Night Temperatures Rise Across Gujarat
Temperatures 5–7°C Above Normal
Night temperatures across Gujarat increased sharply on Monday. Most districts recorded minimum temperatures 5 to 7 degrees Celsius above normal, pointing to unseasonably warm weather.

No Rain in Last 24 Hours
Weather conditions stayed dry across Gujarat, Saurashtra-Kutch, and the Union Territories of Diu, Daman, Dadra and Nagar Haveli during the 24-hour period ending at 8:30 pm on February 2.
