Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has emphasized the significance of GIFT City (Gujarat International Finance Tech-City) as a cornerstone in positioning India as a global financial hub. He stated that this initiative, envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will not only attract investment opportunities but also bolster India’s economy.

During his visit to India’s first Greenfield Smart City, located along the Sabarmati River in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, Yadav inspected GIFT City, which serves as India’s Financial Gateway and an International Financial Services Centre. He held discussions with officials, gaining insights into the city’s advanced automated waste collection system and innovative infrastructure designed to maintain high cleanliness standards.

GIFT City: Driving India’s Economic Power

Chief Minister Yadav highlighted that GIFT City reflects India’s efforts to align with global business standards and strengthen its position as an economic powerhouse. He noted its importance in fostering international trade and promoting sustainable urban development.

Praises Gujarat CM Dashboard for Smart Governance

Yadav also lauded the Gujarat CM Dashboard, a cutting-edge digital platform that enhances governance by monitoring state programmes and schemes in real time. He described it as a model of transparency and efficiency, improving public services and raising the standard of living for citizens.

This visit underscores Chief Minister Yadav’s commitment to adopting smart technologies and innovative governance practices for Madhya Pradesh’s development, inspired by the success of Gujarat’s initiatives.
